Who we are

Vowfinity is a relationship and couples application operated from India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website and mobile application.

Eligibility

Vowfinity is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age.

What we collect

• Name and display name you provide during onboarding
• Email address used to create your account
• Voice recordings you send through the daily voice ritual, Memory Jar, and voice archive
• Photos and short text you save to Memory Jar
• Cheat sheet notes and favorites you add about yourself or your partner
• Game answers and activity (daily questions, ratings, challenges, reactions)
• Relationship data such as partner name, start date, couple link status, and streaks
• Profile photo, if you choose to add one
• Push notification tokens, only if you grant notification permission

How it is stored

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Google Cloud). Information is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS between your device and our servers. Access to production data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel required to operate the service.

How we use your data

We use your information to operate couple features, sync game progress with your partner, deliver notifications you opt into, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we begin removing your personal data promptly and complete removal within 30 days, except where a longer period is required by law.

Deletion

You can delete your account from the You tab → Delete account. Deletion removes your user profile, couple membership, game data associated with your account, voice recordings, memories, notifications, and authentication record. Remaining partner-visible couple history may be anonymized or removed according to our deletion process.

Your choices

• Microphone access is requested only when you record a voice message
• Photo access is requested when you choose a profile photo or add a photo to Memory Jar
• Push permissions are requested only when notifications are enabled

User-generated content

Content you create in Vowfinity — including voice notes, game responses, memories, and cheat sheet details — may be visible to your linked partner according to the features you use.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party service providers including Google Firebase, cloud hosting providers, and notification services to operate and improve Vowfinity.

International transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using Vowfinity, you consent to such transfers.

Your rights

• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Request a copy of certain information we maintain about you
• Withdraw permissions previously granted in iOS Settings

Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies, local storage, and analytics technologies to improve functionality, understand usage patterns, and enhance user experience.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website, app, or other appropriate channels.
